On July 27, 2022, Atlanta couple William and Zachary Zulock were arrested in Oxford, an upscale neighborhood near Atlanta, Georgia, for allegedly abusing and trafficking their two adopted boys. The couple was charged with a number of abuse-related crimes in August 2022. According to Fox News, the two allegedly confirmed to police that they were distributing illegal child abuse recordings. However, they pleaded not guilty in court. If convicted on all counts, they face nine life sentences.

William and Zachary Zulock pressured their children into illicit relations with older men.

According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the couple not only sexually abused their adopted boys, but also documented numerous instances of abuse, pushing them to engage in inappropriate interactions with other adult males. The youngsters, a pair of siblings, were said to be in the third and fourth grades at the time of the attack. According to the Antigua Newsroom, William and Zachary Zulock were wealthy businessmen. While William Zulock, 33, worked for the government, Zachary Zulock, 35, worked in banking. According to the New York Post, they seemed to be a typical couple on all fronts, with Zachary’s Instagram describing him as an “activist” and “Dad to our two amazing sons.”

The pair were arrested when the Walton County Sheriff’s Office received allegations that someone in Oxford was downloading illegal child abuse movies. While investigating the allegations, authorities discovered that the video being downloaded was allegedly made by William and Zachary Zulock.

A representative from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office stated in an official statement:

“One small team was focused on going directly to the children to guarantee their safety, while another team worked with the adults in the house to secure the situation.”

The statement went on to say:

“Evidence that both adult men—the adoptive fathers of the siblings who live in the residence—engaged in sexually abusive acts and film capturing that abuse was discovered during the execution of the search warrant.”

William and Zachary Zulock were accused of creating the illegal films and distributing them to a number of others. They allegedly sent the video to Hunter Clay Lawless, 27, and Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, who are both accused of being part of a child abuse ring.

According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the County School District was critical in identifying the child victims and cooperating with the investigation.
