IN Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are two places where Link can get a clue about a statue trapped underwater and behind a stone gate. At the indicated location, however, it first appears that there is no stone gate. To find it and learn about a new side mission, Link will have to get a little creative to reveal the hidden statue.

Side quests in Zelda: The tears of the kingdom has proven several ways to solve the puzzles and find solutions. Link often has many different ways to achieve the same goal due to the ability to craft different resources and the game’s large traversal system. In this case, Link will have to do a bit of both to find the statue, which will start a new side mission for him to complete.

Temple of Time Map Location

There are two main locations where Link can get a hint about the hidden statue. The first is in The Temple of Timelocated on Great Plateau. To enter the Temple of Time and speak to Goddess statue will give Link the message about the statue. Similarly just below the Temple of Time i Depth chart in Zelda: TOTK is a mine that sits just south of Nogukoyk Lightroot. There is one Dealer statue here, which if spoken to will also give Link the message.

The best way to reach the Temple of Time is by paragliding from the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower.

Go to Great Plateau North Chasm from one of the above locations. Players may be confused as no clear stone gate can be seen at the indicated location. Instead, a massive stone wall encircles the entire large plateau. Players look for the single body of water resting against the stone wall as seen in the image below.

Solving The Hidden Statue Puzzle

This is where Link can get creative to drain the pond. On the wall is a section where two winged statues seated. Link should go to the bottom of the wall where the pond meets it. There will be a section of cracked stone in the wall. Use some form of explosive, such as a fusion weapon or Zelda: TOTK‘s Bomb flowerto blast the part of the wall that will drain the pond.

When the pond is completely drained, Link can go in and find a small statue. Talking to this statue will send Link back to the Goddess Statue in the Temple of Time. Following this prompt and returning to talk to the statue again will start A call from the deep Side Quest in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomwhich Link will be handsomely rewarded for completing.
