Trainers can obtain a Leaf Stone in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet through exploration or defeating Gym Leaders, after which the stone becomes purchasable.

If trainers want to complete their collection of Eevee evolutions in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, they will need an Evolution Item known as Leaf Stone. Since this item is only used for a single evolution, some trainers might consider it quite rare, like the Moonstone or Shining Stone. Fortunately, this is not the case, as this stone is one of the four original evolutionary stones from Generation I. As a result, the Blade Stone, Fire Stone, Thunder Stone, and Water Stone can be easily obtained from branches of Delibird Presents.

However, there is a catch before trainers can buy in a leaf stone from a Delibird gift Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. This stone, including the other three, only becomes available for purchase once the player protagonist has earned at least three Gym Badges by defeating Gym Leaders. Since this is one of the main goals of the game, encountering these formidable NPC bosses will come naturally, meaning players won’t have to go out of their way to do so. Once three badges are earned, trainers can visit Delibird Presents in Mesagoza, Cascarrafa, or Levincia to purchase their leaf stones for ₽3,000.

Suppose trainers prefer not to spend their hard-earned Pokédollars on an Evolution item for a single Pokémon. In that case, they can choose to travel to Bladstenen’s one guaranteed spawning location Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. This location is Team Star Base in Tagtree Thicket, an area northwest of East Province (Area Three). According to gameplay footage provided by YouTube Channel 100% Guides, Trainers can find a Poké Ball node under a tree in the far north corner of Tagtree Thicket. The trail will lead directly to a square tent surrounded by NPCs, but if players inspect the tree on the left near the tent, they will find a leaf stone.

Alternatively, searching the area around Tagtree Thicket is also an option, as the shiny nodes that spawn have a small chance of yielding Leaf Stones in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Trainers at Pro Game Guides claimed that they were able to find a leaf stone after foraging for 15 minutes around the forest. Of course, one wonders why they didn’t just get the stone from the Poké Ball at the Team Star camp, but it’s good to know that there is another possible source for this evolutionary stone. When the players have the desired number of leaf stones in Pokemon Scarlet & Violetcan they evolve their Eevee into Leafeon.
