Robert Loggia had served in the US Army. At the age of 25, he made his Broadway debut in the play The Man with the Golden Arm. Eric played Frankie Peppo in the 1956 film Somebody Up There Likes Me. He then appeared in The Three Sisters (1966), SOB (1981), Big (1988), Lifepod (1993), The Deal (2005) and several films.
Real Gangsters (2013), No Deposit (2015), The Red Maple Leaf (2016) and Cries of the Unborn (2017) are his latest films. Robert made his television debut in an episode of Wagon Train and Alcoa Present: One Step Beyond in 1959. He portrayed Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat in THE Cat for 26 episodes from 1966 to 1967.

Robert died of Alzheimer’s disease on December 4, 2015 at the age of 85. In 2010 he was diagnosed. He died at his home in Brentwood.
