Outchef’d returns to the Food Network to give some more chefs the surprise of a lifetime. The second season of the popular series will be broadcast on Thursday 15 June at 9:30 p.m. ET. The program will also be available to watch on Discovery Plus and the Food Network.

As in the previous season, presenter Eddie Jackson will surprise the confident home cooks who believe they are going to deliver an audition with a challenge. The chefs will have to create a cuisine better than some of the world’s most famous chefs, and the meals will be reviewed by a blind tasting panel of four ordinary people. To win the $5,000 cash prize, the home chef must use only one vote.

Season 2 of Outchef’d also featured some unexpected guests.

To win the tournament, the world-renowned chefs must have all four votes. This season’s chefs are:

  • Alex Guarnaschelli is the executive chef at New York’s famous Butter restaurant.
  • Antonia Lofaso: Scopa Italian Roots owner and Top Chef contestant
  • Darnell Ferguson: Super Boss Grudge Match Host
  • Eric Adjepong: Alex vs. America host and Top Chef season 16 finalist
  • Geoffrey Zakarian is the owner of many New York restaurants and a Chopped contestant.

Joe Sasto: Former RN74, Cotogna and Cal Mare player. Kelsey Bernard Clark is the owner of KBC Catering and Restaurant. Outchef would be described by the Food Network as follows:

“Food Network star Eddie Jackson surprises amateur home cooks with the opportunity of a lifetime: competing in a one-round cookoff against the world’s most competitive, acclaimed and terrifying celebrity chefs.” To even the odds, the home chef just needs ONE VOTE from a panel of random tasters to win $5,000.”

Program manager Marcus, entrepreneur Trent, project manager Mike Mazza, middle school manager Jonathan, manager Ariana and Mike Ryan are among the home chefs featured in Outchef’d. In each episode, one of these chefs will be shown trying to beat a celebrity chef. Among other things, they have to make lobster and mac & cheese. Outchef would also have some unexpected visitors.
