“‘I don’t know how to put into words my mother. “The truth is, there are far too many,” Priscilla Presley read on behalf of her granddaughter. “To many people around the world, Lisa Marie Presley was an icon , a role model and a superhero. But Mama was an icon, a role model and a superhero in more ways than one.

“She could sense the end was coming. Some might call it survivor’s guilt. However, her death was caused by a broken heart. Now that she is back where she belongs, my heart longs for her love. She knew that I adored her. I’m afraid I’ll never be able to touch her, but the old soul is always with me. She doesn’t float away.’ That says it all and thank you all. Lisa, our hearts are broken. “We all adore you.”

“Thank you for demonstrating that love is the only thing that matters in this life. I hope I can love my daughter as you did me, as you did my brothers and sisters. Thank you for giving me your strength , heart, empathy, courage, humor, manners, temperament, ferocity and tenacity. I am the result of your heart. My sisters are the result of your love. My brother is the result of your love. We are who you are. You represent us . Thank you, if I didn’t say that every day.”
