Gotham Knights will not return for Season 2 on The CW. The newest DC show has been in a state of limbo for a few weeks now as the network continues to change its programming approach. Gotham Knights premiered earlier this year and took a rather unique approach to its DC world in that, unlike most CW DC shows, it had no ties to the long-running Arrowverse.
While other DC series Superman and Lois continues with season 4, Deadline report it now Gotham Knights has been canceled at The CW after its one season. The show was a decent performer for the network, but with The CW significantly cutting back on its scripted content, it was unable to justify another season.
